Venner CPH | I had a friend visiting from out of town, but I had left it too late to find a table at some of my usual brunch spots so was recommended to give Venner a whirl. Oooh, it did not disappoint. Located a short walk from Nørreport, it was so good, I went back the following weekend! The hashbrowns and the Eggs Benedict were a nice touch but the real delight was the pancakes. You must try them out if you go, you will not regret it, I promise!

Apotek 57 | This is probably the brunch spot that I have been to the most, with friends but also solo. You can’t make a reservation (which can be annoying if you go in the afternoon because the QUEUE) but it’s worth the wait if you have the time because the food is scrumptious. Really, whether it’s breakfast/brunch or solid lunch food. My only complaint is that the portions are quite small so you may have to spend a lot just to be full. Annoying but whatever, I still go back. It’s located in central Copenhagen (Indre By) and is adjoining the FRAMA design shop so why not stop in there and have a browse of their innovative furniture and other design items.

Atelier September | This eatery is literally up the road from Apotek 57. Another spot where you cannot make a reservation so go early or be patient as you wait for a table. The food is worth it though, very yummy, simple but so yummy. Only con is that, like Apotek 57, I do find the food to be quite pricey for what you get.

Tilda og Karl | A cute local spot on Stefansgade in Nørrebro. I stumbled upon it by accident and now it’s a regular haunt for me. Food is always on point and at affordable prices.

Ø12 | Possibly my new favourite brunch spot in Copenhagen. The food is delicious, all the dishes I have tried (and there are a lot!), I have loved. I love their juices – the pear, mint concoction is my absolute fave. There’s more than one location and you can reserve tables. It is sooooooo good and reasonably priced too – what’s not to love?!

John & Woo | So many people recommended this place to me and when I arrived, I understood why. The food is scrumptious. My heart is for the Woo brunch but my friend who got the John brunch seemed equally delighted with her meal. Definitely worth giving it a whirl, I say.

Honourable mentions go to Baryl, 20 grams and Cafe Alma.
