What a whopper of a week just gone by. It’s been a heavy one in so many ways but hopefully here are some gems to lift you into the weekend.
ONE | DMX passed this week and may his soul rest in glory, but at least we can definitely say he was appreciated and celebrated whilst alive. Verzuz has absolutely been the breakout star of the pandemic and one of my favourites was the one between Snoop Dogg and DMX. This was such fun. Enjoy!
TWO | On another Verzuz note, the Isley Brothers vs Earth Wind and Fire was pure vibes. I have been grooving since that Monday (!) because of those guys. And finally the video is here so you can enjoy it, even if you missed it live.

FIVE | Seaspiracy! Fam this really disturbed me. I’m not a fan of the filmmaking and I have so many questions but the underlying themes really disturbed me. I’m questioning whether my love of prawns is worth alladis. I’ve already given up salmon! Of course, watch with a pinch of salt because there are a number of things that have since been fact checked HERE, HERE and HERE. Also whilst you’re at it, watch this video on the true cost of mining the seas.
SIX | Women we can breathe a sigh of relief, *rolling my eyes here* the fertility cliff is no longer 35
SEVEN | Minimalism vs Maximalism – I am absolutely a maximalist. Minimalism makes me itch!
