I know. I know. I know. I know!!!!! Long time no faves. Well there’s been a lot happening – I sold my flat and moved to a new city, took a pause for adjustment, all while trying to stay alive during the PANDEMIC. And now I’m back in a semi-lockdown again!! Anyhoo, I’m back and you’re welcome! Let’s get into these finds!
ONE | SUPERHEROES. The visuals. The lyrics. Beautiful.
TWO | Dating app conversation starters. My flatmate thinks these are weird and a waste of time. I think they’re awesome. Each to their own right! Ha!
THREE | The Social Dilemma. Not a whole lot that is new here but more of a timely reminder of the HUGE problems associated with big tech notwithstanding its many benefits.
FOUR | THERAPY. I have been living for each episode of Therapy. Falz, Toke, Bovi and Josh are all mad goats and I love them all. It is hilarious. You will cry and your stomach will hurt, but the laughter is worth it.
FIVE | Black babies have a higher survival rate when cared for black doctors
SIX | WAP and the hypocrisy of the response to it. As scandalous as the lyrics may be, that beat???!!!!! It’s the “there’s some hoes in the house” in the background for me!
SEVEN | Love and Basketball. These series really ministered to me.
EIGHT | This look. It’s the bag for me. No the dress too. EVERY TING!
NINE | This Soho NYC loft. HEART EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TEN | This Romper. Summer may be quarter to over (ok fine, it’s over!) but this is worth buying anyway. And it’s on sale. Wear it at home, we’re stuck there anyway!
BONUS | Breonna Taylor. Truly heart breaking. And still no justice. Just in case you’re not clued up on what exactly happened, and what people are so fired up about, this was an interview her mother gave where she shared details of that night. It will leave you WEAK.
