Sunday best: The last gasp of summer

I was not ready. It seems I went straight from summer dresses and sandals to woolly coats and boots. That fall transition I talked about HERE was rather short. The weather switched real quick here in Denmark and all of a sudden, it got cold, dark and even a bit wet. But being completely honest I don’t feel that bad about it. I’m kind of looking forward to being all hygge and having cosy nights in with friends and loved ones. I need to get creative with how to make the most of the shorter days and longer evenings and I’m pretty excited about it. Whilst I brainstorm how to make Autumn/Winter 2018 the best one ever, I thought I would share some shots of the last gasp of the summer. On this particular day, I was totally expecting cardigan-and-tights weather being September after all. The sun, however, had other ideas and decided to pleasantly surprise me with some rays of heat and light, so I decided to serve some back! Here’s to the last gasp of summer 2018!
