Postcards from Benin Republic

Now that Spring has finally made an appearance here in Denmark, I’ve started thinking about holidays and when my next date with some sun, sea and sand will be. To be honest, it’s still a while away; I just started a new job and the way that holidays work here in Denmark makes my head spin…and not in a good way. So for the moment, I’m just gonna relive past adventures so please allow me to share these photos from my trip to Benin Republic some time ago. Fingers crossed, I’ll have some new adventures on the horizon very soon! I recently read this post by one of my blogger faves about #TravelFail experiences. This trip was definitely mine. It truly challenged my view of what it means to travel. Behind these beautiful pictures, this was, in some ways, the most difficult travel experience I’ve ever had. At the same time though, the trip was also a learning experience that taught me a lot about myself, what kind of traveller I am, what I want from my relationships and lifestyle in general.
