Sunday best: Band camp

Last weekend all my plans completely fell through. All my go-to buddies cancelled on me or had plans already and I found myself at a loss as to what to do with myself. And of course, my FOMO (that’s fear of missing out for the clueless among us!) kicked in and I freaked at the thought that everyone was up to fun stuff and I wasn’t. And yet sometimes the most fun times are the completely unplanned ones which was defo the case this weekend. I got to enjoy an awesome Saturday afternoon with my family catching up over brunch whilst drumming up a storm with my nephew. Our band has since split up and we have decided our futures lie separately as solo artists. I went on a surprisingly refreshing date which made me briefly (but only briefly!) reconsider my #ManFree2017 pledge. There was more family time on Sunday with the new addition to my family (shout out to Tito and his parents!) and then a solo trip to the movies ended with me crashing a friend’s cinema date (at her request, not mine!).
